Contextual Anti Spam / Junk SMS

Spam/junk SMS volume is skyrocketing and becoming a huge problem for mobile carriers.

Spam SMS mostly include commercial messages sent whithout the receiver's consent, advertisements...
Junk SMS define illegal and harmful messages (racism, incitement to drog use, prostitution...).

There are 2 ways to fight spam/junk :

• maintain a black list of spammers numbers
• do real time contextual analysis of SMS MT at SMS-C level and delete spam before they reach the user's mobile.

Blacklisting is often not 100% efficient especially when there are a lot of unknown prepaid users or when the spammer is using international numbers.
